This is on a 96 240sx, i got the mchulloch hid kit and havning trouble with the two black and white wires that attach to the harness. Which of the three slots do i slide it into? Right now i have the black on top and the white on the right slot. IS this correct cause it seems like itll work in other ways. I need help asap thanks.
Please throw your HID kit away. You're going to do more harm than good.
There are more to HID technology than pluging them in and calling it a day.
HID in halogen housing will cause glare, blind on coming traffic and create poor cutoff.
www.hidplanet.com will teach you and show you the light about HID.

And to boot, running HID off of stock wiring harness will cause it to fail and can even cause a fire (very rare, but plausible). You need a custom harness, or you will fry your stock harness. On startup, HID draws ~13 amps for a few seconds, while halogen only draws ~7. Stock wiring harness/system will handle it for a while, but ultimately will fail. Sell your kit while you can, and do it over again, right.
