alright, here's the story....i just finished having my sr installed about 7 days ago and everything was fine until the last few days. my clutch(act stage2)started to feel like it was slipping but i had no choice but to drive it cuz i only have the one car. today i'm driving home and the clutch feels like its gone i couldn't go above 30mph the thing is this is a brand new clutch and only has 300 miles on it at most. a guy i was talking to had a similiar prob w/his excedy clutch and says it fixed the prob...the guy who did the swap and the clutch says he will look at it today but i'm curious to know if it is probable that the clutch is bad?

For the first 300-500 miles or so you have to engage the clutch gently/moderatly. i.e. NOT beat on it
No clutch kicks, launching at high rpm, etc. Generally no extremely harsh driving for the first 300-500 miles. Otherwise you risk glazing the clutch over and ruining it.

ding ding ding, we have a winner.
theres no way that he didnt toy around with his car, (driving it hard) as soon as he got it back from the swap if he didnt know he had to break the clutch in.
that sux man.
hopefully you get it all worked out.
luckily, if it is glazed, you should be able to buy a new disk to replace it and not a whole new clutch.

You gonna have to get the flywheel resurfaced, 30~40 bucks.
New clutch disk is not much maybe 50 bucks?
But the labor is what is gonna be expensive.
If you wanted a zero mile break in clutch should have given me a buzz.
