Good pictures. I love white s14's. Mine is black and seems like I need to wash it every time I drive it.

Thanks. The ones on the bridge were done by my friend using my digital and my video camera. He's a kick ass photographer (you should see his other work, it's amazing). I would love to be able to take pics like his, but I'm trying to catch on

Thanks, that's neat of you to point that out.
I've noticed that quite a bit on my car and always wondered about it because all the VIN numbers are present and there is no indication of accident damage to the car. All of the other white s14's I have seen are the same exact way. The only thing I can think of is that the difference in material (plastic vs. steel) is causing the difference.

Ya its not your car. I am nto sure the exact reason but every White 97-98 240 has a different colored rear bumper.

I don't thing a car exists where the plastic bumpers and metal door panels match perfectly, unless it's a BMW or some other expensive car. My rear & front bumpers are both darker than the rest of my car. My bf's TA was the same way from the factory (he bought it w/ 18 miles on it--no chance of repaint before he got it). Plastic does "take" paint differenty than metal.

Nice pics!
As a sidenote, here are some things to consider while taking photos. No clue what kind of digital camera you have either, so some of this may not apply. I don't shoot digital, just not my cup of tea.
When shooting a large subject that is white like that, you need to open up at least 1 stop to render it white, and probably more like 1.5 stops, even. Unless, of course, you are trying to make it a different shade for artistic reasons, then don't bother.
Notice on the car you've got some major reflections going on (like off the doors and stuff). If I'm not mistaken, a polarizing filter will NOT clear this up much, because it's off a metalic surface, and the light is pretty much polarized already. The reflections aren't bad (I think you chose a decent off-frame background), though, but a way to reduce them further is to use a white sheet or something like that out of the picture on the reflecting side, so the reflection is white, like your car. You could have buddies hold it up or something.
If you want to get some absolutely amazing shots, go scout out a really nice location where you can shoot some good sunsets. The one you have would work just fine, too, though from a photographer's standpoint, I think you could also do better. Anyway, when you stop up to render the car a nice white, you'll blow out the sunset by a couple stops at least. So, if you have the ability, get a neutral grad density filter (2x or 3x should work, I think). This has the dazzling affect of rendering the car, foreground (to some extent), and the background in good detail and color. It takes practice and some time, but the shots are worth it.
Also, an interesting idea I tried with my friend's VR-4... Find an approaching storm, mount your camera on a tripod, and use a very long exposure to attempt to capture some lightning in the background. This is very hard to do (it requires figuring out the proper exposure to render the foreground and car visible, as well as the clouds and lightning), and takes some luck...and sometimes some courage. The meaner the storm that's rolling in, the better lighting you can get normally (and the nastier looking clouds too). Just don't stand on top of a hill, and don't let the storm get too close before you get in the car and move. But, it's fun to try and you learn a lot pushing the envelope with your camera like that. If you want to cheat, you can get a storm pic and photochop it back behind your car...but how boring is that??
Like I said, I don't know what kind of setup you and your friend have, but that's a few ideas to think about. Even if none of them are feasible, it might spark some other interesting ideas for pics of your car that you can do. Since you said you're trying to pick stuff up, I thought I'd share a bit of my experience in that area.
Have fun with your cameras, our cars are very photogenic!!

Ewok: I hear you on everything you're saying. Unfortunately my digital doesn't give me those options. At least not when it comes to fstops and the like. My old Pentax K1000 did (that camera owned) but this one is all auto.
I really like the way they came out, I kinda liked the reflections but can see your point from a photographers view.
Thanks for the input. I truly do appreciate it.

damn Matt...I still think you should make a brochure out of your pics...It'd kick the crap out of the one Nissan put out. You have a Coolpix 775, right? I'm currently looking into the 995. IIRC, it has quite a few features that lets you play around with the exposure manually. I'm a complete novice when it comes to photography, but it's always been something that has interested me, and something that I've always wanted to get into. I like the idea behind digital photography with a camera that allows you to manually control exposure, because you can snap a few pics using different settings, and just trash the ones you don't like. No wasted film. Any suggested reading materials for a photograpy newbie? Oh...BTW...nice Avatar twofortysx...LOL

I couldn't recommend any reading material. Ewok might have some good info on that stuff, you should PM him. I took a photo class at the local JC about two years ago, and I'm not usually one to point blame, but that teacher was horrible.
I understand some of the basics about photo now like framing the image, but usually don't take the time to hunt out that perfect spot To me a good picture is something that sparks emotion. Thanks dude.. It's really rather doody. I have alot of little problems to shore up. I was just lucky to get a decent body with decent paint.. The wheels were part of the 5 lug equation as I didn't have the $$ to buy the wheels i REALLY want. As it is, I love the look of these wheels on an S13. I want some more OEM Nissan wheels now.. ie R32, R33, and maybe even R34 GTR wheels..
