Just got them all today.
Cusco Rear OS bar, Cusco Front CF bar, and Injen CAI.
YEAH!!! I'm so excited. I'm gonna put them on this saturday. The only thing I'm worried about is the rear triangle bar install. It appears I'm going to have to drill holes in the trunk to hook it up. Anyone done this install before have any tips?? The instructions are in Japanese so they will be not much help. Only a few pictures. Any help is appreciated.
BTW. I ordered from Enjuku on Friday, and Got them Today. That's quick Service.

I was gonna mention the socks but you beat me to it.
I've never done the install but if you drill into the trunk floor, some kind of sealer might be a good idea.

Hmm I would probably see if their site has instructions for it. Even if its in japanesse. Go to babelfish.altavista.com and translate the whole freaking site. I had to do that with my push button start..... ya shut up.

I didn't notice the sock till you mentioned it. You can see the toe of my shoe too
The silver label on the bar does not come on it. It comes with the bar. I put it on there b/c I thougt it looked cool.
The put the triangle bar together too. I couldn't wait. I love that bar too.

yes they come seperate. The triangle bar comes with longer bolts, and different nuts to accomodate the exess width.
No its not full CF. It's actually Aluminum wrapped in CF

for the love of god... or I guess for you car... remember to preload your suspension before putting the bar on! If it's normally important to properly enforce the structural integrity, imagine the probs you could have when you have to drill holes! eek!

I didn't think it was possible to have an Triangle bar in a Coupe 240?
I don't think to small bolt holes with bolts in them will have any effect on the Structural rigiidity of the car. Especially since I will be attaching the triangle bar.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that S14's cannot have triangle bars.

just email Ken at
[email protected] if you have any questions. Tell him Charles P. sent ya. He's a great guy, and will hook you up.
The OS bar is the top part. The triangle bar is seperate, and is three peices. The two angled bars and the mounting bracket on the bottom.

oh my god chimp i love you, that pic with the t-bar in the coupe is amazing,

you have to drill holes in the floor of the trunk where the bracket is I think. I'll take pics of the install this weekend and post them
OS = Oval Shaft BTW
No I don't see any way they could put one on an s14. The bottom part of the triangle would have to be drilled down and the gas tank is right between the strut towers.
That stuf looks great chimp...let us know how the install goes.
yeah, but is that bar bolted to the top of the wheel wells, from the pic i cant really be sure, i keep thinking that he added that white piece its bolted to , but is it the strut tower???
if so then i guess i could push my box forward and put the pilot bar there...
i cant afford $165 + $135 USD - it's a semesters tuition in canadian dollars...
shitty, but once more... can i still use the pilot bar by pushing the box forward a tad???
sykikchimp
03-19-2002, 08:47 PM
yes it is bolted to the rear strut towers just like the front one goes on. As long as the pilot bar is for the rear it will work. The rear one is a touch shorter, and there are only two bolts in the plat the are diagonaly accross from each other.
