ok well i have stock ka fuel rail off with sr injectors in it. i tried to install rail as is and no go, haven mucho problems, i cant get it to line up right. i was just goin to take injectors out and try like that, but i remember how hard the ka ones weree to get out and really dont want to if i dont have to. so my question is for peeps that have done this, is there a speacial way if puttin the rail on? do the injectors have to installed after the rail is on. or am i just dumb for askin this question? ok thanx ps this isnt 240silvia its his friend helpin with install so u all dont think hes an idiot! i am thanx again

Correct me if I am wrong but the SR and KA motors both use basic side feed injectors and their pretty much the same damn thang?

I installed my rail/injectors on the SOHC a while back and it was cake, when you say wont line up are we talking left to right distance of a single injector or what?

If you put the rail that nut that comes out of the head right under the FPR and go to put the rail down, then 1st injector lines up but the remaining 3 do not line up with the holes, theyre approx 1/8-1/4 inch off...

Crazyness. Again I am not 100% sure the injectors match up, but stick the stokies in the rail and see if they line up. Im interested on how this pans out...

please specify if you're injectors are top/side feed. Sometimes they are not just dropin injectors. Even if they are "dropin" they require different grommits used or unsed alike.

the injectors are pretty easy to install when the rail is already on the motor, so i wouldnt be too worried about that. ive never needed to take the rail off so i cant tell ya for sure how to put it on.

I would suggest installing the rail then the injectors. It really isnt that hard, and they should drop right in, i know mine did.

ok i am same guy who started this but i removed from rail and went right on, so if anyone ever has this prob in the future remove from rail first if rail and injectors are together then instal rail then injectors. thanx everyone
