About some of these ECU chips...

I have no idea about these things so I'm just going to ask...
What can some of these ECU chips do, do they work with the sr20det... just wondering about the turbo cars...

if they do work, what are some options.

Are you asking about the Ebay junk or real ECU retunes?

I am asking because i saw some ebay junk and im sure there are better ones, so in that case both.

First, You will need a daughterboard which range in price from $50 to $150. Then you will need to have someone tune the ecu for your specific setup which can be several hundred more dollars. I did an ebay search for "sr20det ecu" and there are a few tuned Mines ecu's for a couple hundred. If I were you I would stick to names like Enthalpy, JWT, Mines, and any other comanies that have feedback on this site.
There are probably even a few good well known tuned ecu's in the classifieds.
Some people probably sell copies of others tunes and in that case its the price of a daughterboard and 2 dollar 27c256 eprom chips.

I think hes talking bout the Ebay junk shiet thats basically a resistor that tricks the ECU into thinking its getting cold air so itll kinda automatically advance the timing
