Just wanted to share all of these pics w/ you guys...I wish there wasn't that extra large hole on the right side of the trunk. I have no idea what it's for either. If it wan't for that large hole I would have probably inserted a white plug (w/ a flat head to sit flush w/ trunk surface) into each hole since the trunk is in near perfect condition.

btw...I didn't install it or anything. Stock SE wing is still mounted :hsdance:

japanese trunk lid right?
in case anybody wanted to know. the big hole on the right side is for the wireing for the brake light on the silvia early model wings.

ummm? lowe's sells those plugs. they're white and snap right in. they're in the nuts and bolts isle in the "special items" drawer for "special people". haha but dude your cars gonna look good with that wing.

Why not just weld-up the holes? Granted it requires a little more cash to have the trunk re-painted, but no unsightly holes or plugs. :D

hey all. I actually have a Silvia trunk with K's wings holes in it...just 4 holes, fit's perfectly, but it's scratched.

On the other hand, I have this trunk too (a USDM one). Perfect condition, stupid hole placement ;)

anyway...thanks for all the info!! it makes sense that the hole is used for the wiring.
