Ok guys, well, my turbo timer got here today. For the 3 wire harness, can I just splice those wires into the ignition wires without buying the harness? If so, which wires do you splice?

Harnesses are designed for JDM cars anyway and are missing a wire needed for cold start.

Splice in the three you need, that's what a multimeter is for.

Depends on model, and what side you tie in at, wiring changes color after the plug. I'm drunk right now so that's all I can offer.

lol, Please hit the post up tomorrow and see if you get the wire color. It will probably be after the harness I'm guessing.

FYI, the JDM and USDM IGN wiring are both the same.
I've installed plenty of turbo timers on 240sx by splicing the wires.
I used a light tester to figure out my wiring.
You need to find out the BAT POS 12v, IGN_On and ACC. I can't remember the colors off my head, but i'm sure they're posted somewhere. Just search on the forums and google

Edit: 95 240sx:
12 Volt WHITE/RED
Accessory BLUE
Ign_on RED

On s13, I think it's the same but one of those wires were yellow. Test out the wires with a light tester first tho.

The harness plugs right in.

As for the ebrake wire, it's a single yellow wire that runs to your ebrake handle.

Just tap and solder into it.

Raising the ebrake should allow your car to stay on after you remove your key. Then lowering it should shut it off.

Raising the ebrake should allow your car to stay on after you remove your key. Then lowering it should shut it off.

Make sure you handbrake switch is adjusted properly. The brake light on the dash should come on when the handbrake is engaged.

The other alternative is to ground that wire so the turbo timer always thinks that the handbrake is on. If you do this though, the car is driveable until the timer turns off.
