What the hell is wrong with people nowadays?! Someone egged my car and ripped the spoiler off my car, right in front of my house friday night. Do people have nothing better to do than destroy someone else's property. Not only that, when I called the cops come by the next day, he tells me it was probably done because my car is fixed up (stock oem spoiler) and that I should put on my front license plate or else I'll get a ticket. How fukin ignorant is that?! Not only that, but he puts in the case number that the damage is only $200 so I can't even claim insurance because of the deductable. Sorry for my venting, but I just don't see where society is going nowadays.

I know how you feel...my car was just hit hard on the rear intentionally a couple of times by a Jeep "for fun". Chipped alot of paint. Some people just don't have anything better else to do.

What kind of alarm did you get? Does it have a pager function too? I'm looking to getting one with a perimeter sensor also, but I don't know what would be the best one to get. Input on this would be appreciated!

Oh yeah, and I'm sorry to hear about your car. You do realize that just because the cop wrote down a low number, you can still go to the insurance and make them have one of their claims adjusters come out and look at it right? It's worth a shot, and they might even cut the deductable in half because it wasn't your fault, that's what they did when I got hit twice when I was parked.

yup. its apparently the mack-daddy of Viper Alarms. honestly, my buddy who did my stereo install works at local stereo shop, and they sell Viper systems. my car already had one in it when i bought it, but it was a rats nest of f**ked up wiring. he offered to turn it in as a defective, got a new system, installed it beautifully, and i paid for the upgrades & the install (great to have connections ). i believe its a $400ish system..... i'm gonna promote him and the stereo shop when showing, but we send LOTS of customers to em!

my car has never been vandalized. i'm still waiting for my turn. sometimes people drive by in various "cool" import cars and stare at my car, and even people in a v6 firebird drove around the block 3 times, and revved the engine as they went off. my car has some body damage, it's stock as hell, and it's dirty. i don't understand. i'll get mine someday, i just know it. my sister's car gets vandalized a lot, but she leaves her school parking tag on her mirror, always, and i think people from 'rival schools' (don't you love it how they pretend they're in gangs) they drive by and throw stuff at my sister's car. broke the windshield one time.

I have an Alpine alarm in my car, but I had my gf's cousin install it, since he worked at good guys, and I thought he knew what he was doing. He fuked up on the alarm install, so the shock sensor doesn't work, which would've set off the alarm. Anybody know how much it is for a re-install? I wanted to use my tax returns to get a short shifter and go to Vegas, but looks I'll have to use it to get a new spoiler and possibly an alarm instead. These bastards fuked up my spring break plans AND finals week! I'm just amazed how so many people don't have any morals and ethics. Are that many parents that lazy?! And to think that these people are probably going to be parents to kids one day.

yeah their lazy, they don't want to accept that thier children are fuckups. i live in an middle-upper class neighbor hood (my family actually works for their money, no lawyers or doctors in 'my' family) and all the kids around here are drug addicts, and trouble makers, and the parents would rather put up with it until they leave rather than realized there is a problem. it IS scary just thinking what the next generation is going to be like.

I live in the same type of neighborhood. Girls at my highschool did crack just to lose weight.

The area I live in is upper middle class as well. The homes here are about 1M and above (good thing my parents bought it 20 years ago). I'd say about 85% of the kids around here are spoiled to hell. Some kid up the street has had a ITR, 2 m3's, and is currently driving a slk. His brother also drives a riced boxter too. They've never worked a day in their lives and think they're the shiet. Not only that, they're 18 and 19. To thank their parents, they drop e everyweekend and are getting kicked out of junior college. now that's some shiet, huh? I hope they get caught doing drugs, get sent to prison and get raped by "bubba."

Well, though I can't say i've had anything really bad done to my car, but I do understand how it feels to have your personal property violated.

I've been driving around with a dick on my rear windshield since late last august or so. (anyone know how to get that off? they just drew it in the fog or something, but i've washed the car like 6 times since and it's still there )

Transient, that's pretty fucking hilarious man! It gave me a good chuckle! Anyways, you might want to try some Windex. It's still there because it's the oil from their fingers, and that doesn't come off too good with just water. If you have already tried that, then take a damp cloth with dishwasher soap (the liquid kind) and then clean the area. That should do the trick. As a matter of fact, save yourself some time, and just use the dishwashing soap!

I know the feeling.... my car has been egged, keyed and kicked all by the same 4 guys. I have proof they did it (they admitted it to me on the internet NUMEROUS times), but the cops won't do anything because they're young offenders!!

Blink0r, that sucks man. I don't know why people don't respect anyone elses personal property anymore. This is why I'm cleaning out my parents' garage, so that noone can do this shit at night time to it. And during the day, well...it's going to be well protected w/ my perimeter alarm, and pager (when I get that, after the swap). If it pages me, I will be there in 10 seconds or less!

Yeah man it does suck.... i have to get the passengers side door repainted, my drivers side rear 1/4 panel un-dented (is that a word?) and painted..... i hate these guys who vandalized my car. The bad thing is, they only live 3 doors away and i can't do anything about it.

On halloween, 2 friends of mine egged/keyed their cavalier though. OH SWEET REVENGE!!!

Unfortunately, I don't know who did this to my car, but if I find out, they're going to end up in the hospital. But just a little tip for those of you who can wreak havoc on a person (blinkOr), you can break both the guy's arm by putting it behind their back and pushing up (like what cops do). My friend did that to someone who was trying to break into his house. My friend did that to both the guys arms and broke both of them. Can't be sued for assault or damages because you just say that he was trying to get away and you were just trying to keep him there for the cops to come. Basically it'll be your word against his and since he's the thief, your word is more credible.

My old car got broken into last Thanksgiving and I'm still going through court stuff to get it straighted out. They got caught and didn't steal anything but messed up my dash real bad and left me a stereo without a faceplate. I'm still out $350 bucks and tomorrow is sentencing, hopefully the judge here in Michigan is a car lover and will get me my money back.

I probably would have gone and beat the crap out of them but I couldn't since all 3 of them were in jail over Thanksgiving for a couple weeks. Now I just want to get it over with. Working with the cops, law and going through court is a bitch.
