I'm curious, what did you do about the speedsensor?

i used my s13 speed sensor, since the one on the s14 tranny was messed up, but I think the s14 speedsensor can be used if the wires are spliced together

Sweet you got it to fit! The speed sensor sizes are totally different, along with the gear on the sensor, and the general size of the sensor. Are you sure you didn't get sold an s13 tranny?

i'm pretty sure it was an s14 tranny since it had 4 sensors and driftfreaq, the guy who sold it to me, said it came from an s14

what about a SOHC tranny into a s14 DOHC?

It will physically fit and work, but you have to figure out a way to fit the speed sensor and make the speed pinion work. Unless you like driving around going half as fast as what the speedometer shows.
