Wll I solved my starting issue, But now I am not sure if everything is working right. My manifold starts glowing red after it runs for a minute or two, it is the new boost designs manifold. I believe that it is aluminum. any imput would be apreciated. thanks.

Your exhaust manifold is not aluminum, otherwise it would melt.

Your EGT's are getting too hot. I'd lean towards a blocked cat (or something of that sort) or your timing being far too advanced.

could it be my timing being to far retarded, I have not adjusted my timing yet after the engine swap but it is at about 10 degrees, could this cause it. thanks.

I believe stock sr timing is 15 degrees. try that.

I'm an idiot...I meant to say retarded, not advanced in my previous post. If timing is severely retarded then the exhaust valve is open while the ignition event is occuring, causing combustion to partially take place in the exhaust manifold, which would certainly cause a LOT of excess heat, and a glowing manifold.

I'd check/set your timing...takes all of about 5 minutes if you've got a timing light.

just about to do that, thanks for the imput

you probably want to retard it from the stock 20* anyways right?
how much are you planning on boosting?

oh, I didn't realize you are kat. ignore my above post. .5 degrees retard for every lb of boost. stock is 20 for ka so take it from there.
