ok i removed the stock spoiler on my 95 s14 and they got all these sticky stuff, i was wondering what i can use to clean it off without scratching the paint?

goo gone maybe, its made of citrus oil so i dont think it should mess with the paint.

use that 3m stuff... i forgot what it's called though...

if its urethane(black and very sticky/tough), use any silicone remover type cleaner. thinner works also, but if you use it, wipe it on and have a dry towel to wipe it off immediately or it could make funny marks and you'll need to buff as long as you don't go through the clear.

I use a nice rag, or the tissues with lotion in them. :wackit:

Goo gone and tothbrush will do, I used it to remove the glue of the black tape on my 240SX...and it works and is safe for the paint...

Im for the Goo Gone...worked on my car, it will work on yours. Safe on paint too..woo hoo!!

Vinegar, the acid will eat through most residue left by sticker placement, and any other general type of sticky(ness), wipe down in a cirular motion. I usually mix it about 60-40 (when I clean my windows) but you could use around a equal blend. . .

im for the good gone...it too the 240sx off my rear end and got rid of the stickiness with the quickness...

Goo Gone for sure. If the adhesive is really built up, soak the area and let it sit for a minute before starting to remove.

I used Goo Gone on my trunk, leave it on for couple of minutes
