im considering on ordering some eibach prokits springs for my 91 coupe...
but i aint got enough money for some kyb agx's yet..
is it still ok to put the springs on??/
cant get AGX's for another month or two, or three... (im broke)
should i just wait and get both together or is it ok to buy and put the springs now and then put on the AGX's...
thanx in advance..

I wanted to get AGX's, but ended up buying GR2's because I didn't have the money at the time. It’s up to you if you really want that adjustability, but I am happy with the GR2's. If your willing to do the extra work of removing the struts/shocks and installing your springs, then doing it all over again to put ya AGX's on, its all up to you also. I would just wait and be patient!!!

just wait and do the whole shabang at one time, less work.

yea i really want prolines but i now they will blow my stock shocks and i was thinking prokits wont but ive heard there no that lower than stock... will prokits still blow stock shocks if so.. imma just get prolines and i was thinking about AGX's but some peeps telling me to go with Koni Yellows.. so im still debating on that... would koni yellows be a better Setup with prolines than AGX's...
edit: i meant sportlines not prolines.. damn.. im too tierd..

Koni yellows would be the way to go with Sportlines. Not too sure bout Prokit not blowing stock shocks, but i can personally attest to sportlines blowing em!!! Mine lasted bout a wk before it started riding like a Low-Rider. I went the cheap route when i blew my stock shocks, just bought regular tokicos *non-adjustable* just cuz i wasnt planning on doing anything crazy. Been running this set up for 3 yrs. Suspensions starting to get soft but itll be pretty stiff for the first yr or so.

I used stock with sportlines before. Blew the rears in like a week. I also bought tokicos to go with the sportlines. They aren't awesome but they aren't horrible either. better than stock, at least. if I needed to buy new ones, I'd get some Koni yellows or just save for coilovers.

How long do KYB AGX's shock usually last if combined with Eibach Sportline springs??
about how many miles before the get blown??

why don't you just ask, how long can i expect to live?
dude it varies in every application...the type of driving you do..the condition of your local roads...there is no way to predict how long they will last...i've heard of stock shocks lasting a year...and apparently the guy above you said a week or something...
and honestly..it's gonna suck regardless of what you do...eibachs are pretty worthless...
save your money and get some coilovers...call it a day and be happy for a lot longer...

Wow... Some ppl don't need coilovers. If you are installing the springs yourself its one thing.. if you are paying someone else to do it then i would say wait.
if you need to have the car lower now then go for it otherwise wait.

yea, ill be installing it myself... i know it'll blow my stock shocks really quick... and ill have to wait a month or 2 before i can get AGX's... so untill then, ill be riding on blown shocks which will suck...
