I am going to have those 16x8 wheels +10 from the group buy. My concern is rubbing above, not the side. I have a DIY for fixing that.
So, what can i do? I would really like the plastic splash guards inside the fender to keep water out of my engine bay. Any ideas?

Really? hmmmm. Could it be under the car? I am just trying to figure out where this grainy dirt is comming from. If it isn't from the fender ..... could it be the fact i don't have an underbody engine cover?
