need help with improving gas mileage! please!
something is seriously wrong with my 240. i don't exactly know, because the car seems to run fine; for some reason the car gets terrible gas, i mean terrible "18 miles per gallon" :bash: . i don't know what is wrong with the car. the only modification to the engine, or related to the engine, is a lightweight flywheel, racing clutch, grounding kit, and some new ngk spark plugs and wires. also recently replaced a crank case positioning sensor. in case you are wonder what year is it, it's a 95 se. oh i also used seafoam for the crank case, and the gas tank. The car is getting worst......... pleaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeee! help!

o2 senser might be messing up does ur mil go on at all.
18 MPG isnt bad...do you drive hard alot? you shouldnt expect better mileage then that unless you actually drive slow like normal people

i guess i could change the aif filter and maybe check and see if i need a new o2 sensor; because the engine does have 130k miles on it and i'm not sure if the previous owner bought a new one or not. the strange thing is, right when i purchased the car (about 6 mouths ago), it was getting pretty good gas mileage. maybe around 25 miles per gallon.

air filter, fuel filter are what I'd look at. I get around 24 miles per gallon right now
