Searching google, I turned up this link: http://www.rs-r.co.jp/motor/jgtc/index.htm

It's a Kouki that RS*R ran in GT300 a while back.

Does anyone have any knowledge of other S14s that ran the series, hopefully Zenkis?

The reason I'm asking is because, instead of the whole drift movement that's going on with our cars, I'm planning on doing a sort of toned-down JGTC design on my car, the main changes being the deletion of the decals, slightly less agressive aero, and a smaller, lower, wing.

What I'm really wondering, is if anyone knows of any existing off-the-shelf aero kits that manage to capture the look and feel of these cars. If not, then it's time for me to start researching a custom design.

Also, what's involved in doing a vent design like what's seen on that hood? I'm talking a flush, functional design, not some tacked-on fake vent. It seems to me that finding a hood with the radiator vent and adding the side vents wouldn't be too hard, I suppose the thing to do would be to cut out the spaces and make "fins" out of CF sheet, but what's involved in bonding CF, anyway? I was thinking some kind of epoxy?

Um. I know I'd seen some pictures somewhere. It wasn't JGTC, but it was race versions of a zenki s14. I'll look around....

Was it the tube frame ones? If so, I posted those, so already seen them.

My main interest, as I said, is to approximate the serious race look in a street / track road race car. I want to do some body mods to the car, but I want something that'll look respectable as a track car, which is why I like this so much.

All the S14's I've seen were kouki if I recall correctly. The teams I remember besides rs-r were Xanavi, Nismo, Hoshino, and c-west. I'm pretty sure there were more.

As far as the body kit, I think the Target aero kit looks the most like a GT car. You have to bond on your own flares though.

Next time you get a chance, check out this car (probably at Drift Day 21, I'll be testing it):

If you want both vents functional like the JGTC car, some sheetmetal has to be reshaped and cut. As-is the vents are functional, but the passenger side has complete ducting for air to pass through the oil cooler, then up the vent. The driver's side has incomplete ducting due to the need to run intercooler piping.

The car should have a functional complete rear diffuser by 2nd Quarter 2005. The front splitter will soon extend to the front crossmember.
