low tranny fluid ??

wat can happen to the gears if the tranny fluid is low?? my 2nd grinds when i downshift to it, 2nd does not grind when i shift from 1st to 2nd or if i downshift to 2nd on really low rpms.... if im on 5th at 3rpm+ put it into nuetral and back into 5th itll grind, 5th will not grind if i go from 4th to 5th..... low tranny fluid problem??? i realllly hope its that or at least a clutch going bad.... i dont wanna have to get another tranny.... =\

just drain the old tranny fluid and put in new fluid... that should stop the grinding... do a search on transmission oil if you don't know how to change the oil.

ive been told that there isnt really a dipstick or anything for the tranny fluid? that u need to take off the shifter and on the driver side of the tranny theres this big bolt u take off to drain the fluid?? is that how u do it??
