Furthering my quest to solve my mysterious oil burning problem, I return to the primary suspect: my S13 cam install. Now I'm sure many have installed S13 cams into their S14 KA, but when doing so into a 1997 KA, are there any differences?
My oil burning and massive smoke from exhaust problem only manifests when parked on an incline for a long period, nearly an hour. This leads me to believe oils is leaking out of somewhere it shoudln't be leaking from...
I also recall reading that the 1997 KA had some differences, like a different oil jouurnal or bridge or something?
Has anyone done an s13 cam into 1997 KA install and had any problems? I did not replace anything except the cams, and even tried fixing this problem a while ago with a new valve cover gasket, to no avail.
Is the problem in differences between 1997 and 95/96 KA's, and is there a solution? anything?
