Like Title says.. what would you do with 2,500 cash with your sr20det?
I've Figured I will have that amount when the SR gets shipped here to spend on project...
Should I just buy a rebuild kit.. gaskets,seals... etc....
Or do FMIC, upgraded turbo (nothing large) injectors, nice exhaust?
Give your inputs...
Please don't bash or flame!
thanks
joe

Sell it for $500 and put the correct motor back in, then spend the money on driving instruction and suspension/brakes.

i posted my list cuz that's what i've done to mine, and it's about where i want it (not very fast, not slow either)...
now, if you're still running stock suspension and brakes even, i'd go w/ that first

coilovers, brake upgrade (300zx fronts probably), tension rods, stb's...etc

I gotta say, I think a radiator should be on the list somewhere.

I've already got brakes off 300zx and LSD from N/A 300zx.

Assuming you already have coilovers, brakes, an LSD, and a good drivers seat, I'd get

Valve cover, sparkplug, exhaust mani, turbo gaskets $100
new water pump and thermostat $100
radiator hoses $60
Cone air filter $60-110
koyo radiator $320
Electric water temp, oil pressure, boost gauge $350-600
Greddy VSPL front mount $650
Greddy Profec B from ebay $150-$200
Turbo Timer $60-80
O2 extension $100-$200
Downpipe $100
Custom Exhaust $100-200
Walboro Fuel Pump $100

This is a smidge over $2500.

keep it stock and enjoy it stock, a stock motor will last longer as well as hold value in the long run
