I installed my tranny back on today, pretty sure the clutch fork and TOB are on right, when i put it back on the clutch slave cylinder wouldnt press in any or fit in place, thers like 1/4 inch extra the fork or slave cyl rod needs to be pressed in.
so my question is this
did i put the tob on wrong, or do i need to release the fluid pressure on the clutch system then reinstall it?
this is really weird and really pissin me off, thanks
mike
Did you put it in with the bearing on the carrier facing the clutch? release the fluid pressure system, reinstall and rebleed, you should be good.

Is it leaking fluid? If so, the rod might be pushed out to and it may need to be rebuilt.

clutch slave and master cylinders are NEW, the fluid was charged when clutch was bad, could that have charged it too much?

Wtf? What do you mean "charged"? Take the little rod thing and push in the piston of the slave cylinder all the way. If that doesn't work then....I dunno.
