How much variation can you get with a door lock? Power or manual... maybe keyless or shaved handles w/ poppers. I mean, unless you want to weld a deadbolt to your door I'm not sure what you're looking for.

u know different DOOR LOCKS ... the accual lock where the keys go insides. assuming u understand that i mean locks with a different set of keys. different brands or something any1 know what im getting at. like atleast maybe s14 locks or anything newer ... something so replace a worn down lock ... or maybe ya shaved down / keyless entry any idea?

I know some ae86 guys use those solex lock kits on the door and hatch. The key looks kind of like a bike lock key, the round style.

I know very very little about the Solex locks outside of seeing a few photos; however, I do know that there's a security issue with the standard circular locks found on soda machines, bike locks and the ilk, and most importantly small gun safes. Someone figured out that all it takes to bypass the locks is a rounded out bic pen chamber and a paperclip this was reported to the safe manafactuares and I haven't read much about this since, though I still see circular safe locks being sold so who knows.
I would hope the solex locks were a bit higher end and would not be as easy to break into.

yeah, i think the solex locks are ok, i have also heard that method does not work for the locking hood pins using the same style key. Ive never tested it out tho.
