Anybody got any random parts layin around their house??
My girlfriend took 2 of my old pistons and made candles out of them (manly candles... of course) .... and then I have my bent rod/piston assembly on top of my entertainment center as a conversation piece (the time I got stuck in a flood....). I'm trying to make something out of my old crankshaft, I have 2 cams too...
check out this website, its sweet...

good friend of mines basement bar bathroom (the whole basement is car themed) has the racing toilet paper holder, the plunger, and the vanity lights, he used to refuse to tell me where he got them. I'm going to email this to him now.

I have a bead-blasted piston out of a top fuel dragster on my desk at work. Flipped on it's top, I use it as a pen/pencil holder. I also have a used tire from a race car that makes nice back patio "decoration" ..

wow, that's a good idea. i dunno if it would sound good, but it would sure add a touch of testosterone to my apt decorations, which are controlled by estrogen and progesterone.

Our old neighbor had an old train rod and piston he used as a little table in his living room.

I had a flywheel and a camshaft that I was planning on welding together and then use a steel rim as a base for a sweet table.
I never got around to it tho

I have a three cylinder Geo block that I use as a doorstop in my garage. It used to power my go-cart untill one of the pistons blew up, which almost killed me.

I have a random chunk of carbon fiber from a racecar that I found in the dirt at Buttonwillow's East Loop. I use it for a paperweight.
I used to have Silvia K's badges on the side of my monitor, but I'm thinking of eBaying 'em.
