HOTNESS! Its a Fujitsubo 4-1 header!! Jasma Approved as well. Its stainless steel, Im gonna have a guy I know polish it up for me. Its pretty trick though. For a used piece, its still in phenominal condition. The EGR tube thingy is exactly where the stock piece was, with same size piping! Awesome piece of equipment.

How much did the motor set you back? Where did you get it from? Is there much wiring involved?

I've seen JASMA imprinted on alot of things. What does it stand for? Is it a company?

Now that I've found a very very nice header, I can focus on getting it running in the car. Once I do that, I'm going to source out a spare head, and have it port and polished, oversize ferrea valves, s5 cams. Once that is running good enough for my standards, I'm going to have Scott (Enthalpy) tune my ECU. After that, ITB's!

Anyone have some more pics of that N/A monster?

correcto mondo! Any have more pics of that Eibach meet car? and any info on the header its running? Its different in shape than my Fujitsubo, which would lead me to believe that is a one-off design. It looks like it was made to fit in the LHD version 240sx, based on the way its set up. ( Notice number 4 cylinder coming BACK and joining with number 1) I would assume thats to combat the steering colum problem, unless that is an oddly configured header set up I am not aware of. Input anyone?

i have seen srNAs on sentras couple times most of them run around mid or low 14s.
good luck.

JASMA is like a group of dudes that certifies that a piece of exhaust related equipment (catback, headers etc) meets requirements for decibal levels and such in Japan.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Jasma is like our CARB.

I was under the impression that JASMA was a loudness certification, not emissions.

You are correct, JASMA does not = CARB.

I thought CARB also did the loudness certification stuff?

they rejoin to 4 to 1 b/c they fire at the same time. With the cylinders working together to create exhaust velocity, scavaging is higher, and you get more power.

the hothsot header does it too. Just in a slightly different pipe route.

Im still curious to how your going to solve the steering column problem. cut and reweld along the parts that hit the column?

/shakes fist at differnt driver side :(

nissantuner22

im probably just gonna move the steering column out of the way a little.

no, just out of the way, a few inches will be enough to give me the clearance i need.

that eibach meet car owner is my good friend and a business asscociate of mine. I will relay your interest in the setup to him but I can tell you it is semi custom and a one off. He delights in seeing people wonder about it . In Fact I was the one at the meet that got him to pop the hood on the car.
Gary is old school he was the first person to a RB25 in a S14 and that was over 5 years ago long before McKinney had even gone there.
He knows his stuff really well expect top notch stuff coming from him in the near future as he is leaving his brothers shop to start his own.

do u mean shifting the whole column over? can you elaborate how your going to do this, ive never thought about this route. and i really would lik to use a fujitsubo header with out modding it or getting a one of mani

many people seem to think the column has to be in one exact spot, and there is no other way around it. Instead of working around the column like most do, im just going to make the column work with my set up.
However, I am also toying with the idea of using a design similiar to Gary's, Drift Freaq's friend. If you look at the pic, you can kinda tell it was made specifically to clear the steering column. I like the design of it, but would like to see some more pics of it. Drift Freaq, tell Gary I would be interested in talking with him sometime about his setup, it would be quite educational.
