Hello everyone, just bought a 72 510 with a running 93 240sx ka and 5spd in it. :hyper: I am going to replace the clutch and wanted to know if anyone is using a zoom brand clutch in their car? I have heard alot of good things from guys running them in early z cars. Thanks, Matt

I remember reading about one of the ITS/ITA guys running it in their car. I think he got it at advanced auto parts or some other chain like that.
If you don't have any aspirations for massive power out of the KA, it should hold up just fine. About the same as most OEM replacements.
EDIT: found the link: http://forum.improvedtouring.com/it/Forum16/HTML/000256.html I believe there were more there, just search around.

Here's a pic of a 510 with the DOHC KA in it....but there is one thing different. It has CARBS! Anyone know how to get a intake manifold like that, so you can run carbs?

Take the stock intake manifold and cut it...then weld a plate for your carbs.

Tony Shultz US drift guy has a Zoom clutch in his 240. I see a lot of them get put in with sr swaps around here. Most aren't pucked though and feel weird to me.

Tony is a cool guy...got my first drifting experience riding shotgun in his black S14...funfun....:2f2f:
Why dont you just get a stage one ACT or Exedy clutch...prolly end up being less of a headache when and if warranty work is needed or tech support for that matter.

you can custom build a clutch for that 510. meaning like one side ceramic one side metallic. works good if you want good grab and street feeling. feels nice on a 510ka..
