Ok, I'd like to throw my .02 in on the subject.
I'm personally from TeckEast, and good buddies with a lot of the guys on there. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I respect that, but as a side note, and no offense, some of ya'll are just fucking idiots.
To each his own, and to each car, their own art. He built it the way HE wanted it. It was built in mind to please himself, not everyone else. Personally I like the color scheme on it, it's different. Not "bashing" anyone for saying that the look of the car isn't to their standards.
The first thing I would like to comment on is Nismo2491/AKADriver (not to call out anyone specifically or anything like that but...)
I would love for you to see how well of a driver Dado actually is. I'd love to see how well either of you would do (for all I know ya'll could be very talented drivers) I'm just saying before you open your mouth, know what your talking about.
As far as nightwalker. Once again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't see how you can call us "Teckagimmicks". One - Have you started your own company from the ground up, generating a huge fan base? I believe not. Also, how is being part of the Cannonball Run (one of the most prestigious event worldwide) an attempt to be a jackass? Being a part of Teckademics, no one trys to act like a jackass. We are having fun, and entertaining people. So some of the guys have deep pockets and can beat up cars and fix them. You telling me that you've never done a burnout, or anything reckless in a car, is pretty much bullshit. Everyone plays around, and has fun, and if it's a waste, explain to me how it was one of the top selling DVD's on Billboard Einstein...
Mikespeed - I'm sorry dude but think what you want. We don't worship anything, it's called respect. He built the car with his own blood sweat and tears, much like everyone (I'm assuming) on this forum, as well as every other forum. Worship this :fawk: .
MugenHonda - Go do a search about the TeckArmy, and then lets hear your thoughts. You start a company, then have people you don't even know go to stores to put the DVD's on the top of everything else, represent Teck and be a part of a family and then open your mouth. I'm not trying to be a dick about it or anything but. For the people who leech the TeckName - Have you ever watched a Superhero movie when you were a kid and wanted to be just like that person. Some people can't afford M3's or other cars of the nature, or to mod them. Some don't have the knowledge but are dying to learn. Leeching no - Admiration and Emulation yes.
KA24DESOneThree - Teck is a joke, hmm? As I said before you start a company out of your own pocket, have a good time and call it a joke. Go research the TeckArmy. It's a family, not a wanna-be cult or whatever you would like to call it. When Sean (Vader) Dustin and some other the other guys talked on Dateline as well as CMT, do you really think the media would advocate something like streetracing. Hell no, talk about being repremanded for life. You go search for the threads and read what REALLY happened as far as the shows editing what Sean said. We aren't advocating streetracing, just documenting it. Some of us find a thrill going from stoplight to stoplight, dangerous - extremely. When we are talking about the anti-streetracing movement, it's about punk kids who watch F&F etc. take out their mom's car, or whatever they can get their hands on(most likely fresh out of drivers ed) and getting into accidents. Yes even the best drivers can get into accidents but it's the stupid people of the group who give them the bad name.
