Okay -
I thought initially that the stock gear ratio on the 240 was 4.11, but then everyone started saying it was 4.08. So, which IS it? The only reason I question 4.08 (which I have heard more) is because R&T lists it as 4.11. (http://www.240sx.org/links/magazine/r&tmag/page6.html) Well, once you figure it out, here's a great little utility (http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/) to play with... Thanks guys!

when i first got my car, it was "4.11's" then it was "if you have an LSD, it's 4.08". but it turns out, they're all 4.08 in the US

Interesting... thanks for the info. I guess even published (and somewhat reputable, right?) sources can be wrong, too <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> You mind telling me your source? Not that I don't believe you, just wondering <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
