Avoid using flash when you take pictures. Get some good lighting and use a tripod without flash.

there was another 2 coats added after these pics,dont worry I see green in these pics also but rest assured its all gone now.Total coats was almost 4 heavy thick coats an I also did some of the engine bay.

I like how people leave their car primered. Then they drive it around and let all the moisture get sucked into the primer. Then later on after they have painted their car, bitch about rust developing. But hey, it's your car. And this is my shitty way of giving advice.

its koo for the advice,this is the second car I done in flat black an I dont use primer because as you said primer absorbs moistures,as with krylon an rustoleum it repeals it,bein in cali helps out on minimal rust as well.An yes I sanded down my old paint job(can you call month an half old paint job old?)down with 220.

Good point about the primer. I will be rattle canning my s13. The current paint is in horrible condition and starting to chip. If I sand down the entire car, will the paint stick w/o primer?? Reason im asking is that I live in Key West. Im talking a TON of moisture in the air. I dont want to fuck up my car for a temporary job.

I am really unsure personally on the whole primer deal in more moisturized climates,cause primer traps water but it also acts as an adhesive for paints.You may be ok doin it the way I did usin a 220grit paper an sandin both wet an dry.If you use somthing like rustoleum profesionall its made to repeal water.

noke- i think that was a fruedian slip on his part. he does care what we think or he wouldn't post pics and sure as hell woudlnt' change the look of the car so soon after being supposedly thrilled with the first round.

Look I had just enough of your antics makoto but I am goin to keep my cool cause I enjoy this board ALOT.As for a few people sayin that I changed my car cause other people didnt like it is complete an utter b.s.I was 100% unhappy with how my car looked before,I never liked my "mexican" trunk,the shade of green was wrong an the front bumper was hideous that I had before.The color,trunk,an bumper I had before was fine at the time because I was buildin to sell for a profit,but I am keepin the car now.I am only changing the car to make it more apeasing to me an not to other people.I have not once owned a car with shaved door handles,not even the 2 trucks in the past that were show trucks or the 22 other modified cars I owned.Just because my car has certain things doesnt mean I did them or like them.I bought the car with shaved handles an other tidbits,maybe a mistake on my part now but not at the time I was set on sellin the car 3 months ago. :gives:
