Hey I've been seeing this guy at every NoVa or MD event lately, what do you guys think of his car. I love it, but I hate the fact that it has a red top. Its very well done though. and on a side note, I heard he did terrible at the DGTrials civil war in MD.

I would say that on any given weekend I go out to a track event, I see about 0 "track cars" with stickers, and graphics all over them.

I see some race cars that way, but that is far from a race car.

It's more of a, "I like to show off, and talk about going to the track" car.

considering I personally know all them let me hop in here. the car is one of the guys thats real close with teck and rolls with them all the time. guy's name is dan (not mentioning last name) and works for the local nissan dealer (VOB Nissan). at civil war it was being driven by Dado not dan so that may explain why it didn't do too well. as far as track or show car its kinda both, he has a lot of track stuff but mainly he just daily drives it and shows it. there is a lot of authentic NISMO stuff on there and as for the stickers, if you were part of a crew that produced huge movies in the automotive world wouldn't you want to advertise as well?
as far as performance, it ran a 13 something but the clutch went out on the run.

At least I'm not the only one. The "rock star street racer" image is just stupid. I dunno, maybe it's different living around here... my first exposure to teckademics anything was seeing Dado do poorly at an autocross in that dakar yellow M3 with the suspension set way too low for function. To his credit, he was a bit faster than me in my GTI, but it was my first autocross and that GTI was a pig.

The car is pretty nice, though I think it is trying to look like a race car instead of actually being a race car (that tow hook looks dumb). I don't like the stickered look, but if he has a financial stake in the company, makes perfect sense. The paint design looks pretty good, but I would definitely have picked something else besides that green. Chroming the wheels makes them look cheap in my opinion. And I would ditch the wing and tinted tails. Nice aero, nice paint color, nice wheels (before they were chromed), conversion looks good. Overall, nice effort, but the details are not my style.

Well here I am finally......Not too much love, but its understandable, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Believe me I hate the current scheme on the car. If I could do it again it would be all black, black wheels with a polished lip and NO green. Only reason I have it like that is to please sponsors and give the car a unique, loud look so its easily recognizeable as it gains exposure these next few months. -Car went 12.75 @114.9mph last december at Capitol Raceway
-Ive only been to three drifting events in my life, so yes i have little experience and yes you will be seeing me at more events cause yes i would like to eventually get better at it.
-The wheels are Kazera KZ-A 18x8.5 and 18x9.5(they came chrome) and yes they do look alot like DT05-R and Nismo LMGT4's
-JR from Falken drove the car at civil war on one pass and honestly he did pretty damn good in my opinion and everyone elses.
-I run a TD06-20g making around 345whp @6500rpm (17psi)
-Dado is an amazing driver and im sure many of you "drifters" wish you were half as good.
-I got the Nismo S15 RTune bumper since I am the regions only Nismo Japan and OEM Nissan Japan parts distributor. So if any of you guys need parts wether its an SR Water Pump, or Nismo Motor Mounts gimme a call.

Teckademics is a joke. They pulled this "Teckademics army" thing over at Bimmerforums a while back and I've disliked them ever since. That they go on TV and talk about streetracing isn't bad, though... they're advancing the cause of the anti-streetracing crowd.
