well i already use howstuff works i meant along the lines of specific models and there specs ect how they bolt up. lil more advanced than what they are.

for specifics check the stickies in the Tech section for the KA and SR respectively, there's also a wealth of info in the FAQ section, and most of all, use the SEARCH button! :)

Maximum Boost is a good book. For compressor maps Garret has some on their site IIRC. If you go to http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/index.html You can look at a couple different turbos and what they look like. If you look up in the tech section for a thread "Turbo thoughts" you could find some good info too.
