You guys think I will notice a acceleration diff. if I was to put 17" rims on. And what are your opinions on the perfect size? I was thinking 16" would be good... but I was just curious if 17" was a better choice. (The rims would be 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the rear or 16x7 and 16x8.)

Come on we were newbs once.

I had 17's on my coupe they looked great. If your worried about accerlation get 14x6 TE37's and call it a day.

The "perfect" setup is up to you its your car. I like flushness. You may like chrome bling. Its your choice.

BTW do you want us to tell you how to fix up your car also?

Keep the overall tire diamter around the stock size, and don't buy REALLY heavy rims...you won't even notice the change.

225/45-17 and 245/40-17 are the tire size I'd reccomend for those wheels...

you ask really dumb questions

you post really useless replies

17s will be fine, in perfect 5 lug and offsets, sr204me

someone has pics of 17x9 n 17x10 fn01rc on a white coupe that look sick as hell...but a little fenderfuckingwith was needed to fit em

meanwhile, in 17x8 17x9 get sa3r!

yeah go with the 17x8 and the 17x9. i think itll look much better depending on the rim you get.

17s look perfect. Just as long as you don't use little 17x7 rims with a 40 series tire. Then it looks too small.

also, it all depends if you're running stock exterior or body kit. to me, i care about proportions. 16's look good with stock exterior, and 17's or 18's would be would with kits and whatnot. and yes, try to keep the overall diameter of the rim + tire profile to the stock 15 inch with 60 profile. it would be good if you want to keep your speedo accurate, as if it already was.

Staggered wheels are lame. And if you put on 17" wheels you will notice a huge acceleration difference you will be like "omg so tyte".

I think 17's look pretty good on a coupe, personally. It's all up to your personal taste. Some people like small wheels, some people like big wheels. I'd like to see a set of 18's or 19's on a Coupe just for the Hell of it.

BTW, that's not my car. I just really like those wheels. Photo credit goes to JH.

Those aren't some blingin' chrome wheels there kid. Those are Impul's, and they are very nice. Kinda on the heavy side, but nice. You are entitled to your own opinion, I'm entitled to tell you You're Wrong! :bash:

I had some 16x7 and 16x8 Sparco's with 215 f and 245 r. They looked great and I loved them, but I needed better traction so I got a set of hevyer 17x8.5 and 17.9.5 Manarays with 245 f and 275 r. The Manies weigh a good bit more then the sparcos, so I had to sacrifice weight for traction. Both of your choices look good, it just depends on the kind of power you plan on running.
