angled exhausts are for the straightest spent gas flow possible
most catback ones you buy are bent to exit straight...
find the muffler you want and take it to a muffler shop and have it mandrel bent the way you want...cheaper n looks better

IF YOU ARE INTO A FIELD, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT THE FIELD IS SOILED WITH. . . . .do yah homework kid. . . and enjoy yahself. GPSports has one, Greddy has one, APEX-i has one, ESPELIR has one, (50-state legal BTW), and others. Go grab an Option2 magazine, flip though it.

99% of any exhaust made in Japan. They all look the same.

5zigen cannon ball.
Nope, Cannonball (old design) is straight, not angled.

hey guys, i got a quick question,
i have the apex'i n1 catback on my 89 fastback and i have it lowered so that my 17 inch rims are tucked so that you can barely see the tire. i was just wondering if anyone else has a clearance issue with that exhaust because i drive down the road and when i hit bumps, i hear my exhaust scrape! when i wash my car, and reach down and under to scrub the exhaust, i can barely get my hand between the exhaust and the ground. I was just wondering if anyones n1 sat that low to the ground?

^^ Sounds like the car is too low to the ground, not the exhaust.

well, if you didn't make your car suck so incredibly bad it wouldn't be scraping at all. maybe you should consider not screw up your suspension in the future.
but to answer your quesiton, no most people's exhaust doesn't sit that low cause a lot of us realize that slamming a car is stupid.

ok, 1 more question, if you guys say that my car is too slammed, compared to all other 180sx drift cars my car looks like a 4x4 (sits about 3 inches higher then the average drift car). How can the D1 cars be slammed about 1 inch from the ground and not have exhaust clearance issues (or do they have them)?

They are not street cars. Its a sacrifice, my exhuast hits a bunch of things, but I don't care about it. If you do then either raise your car or make your exhaust really really high. It will put more bends in it, but it won't scrape as much. But it might hit your frame or floor when it shakes.

im not complaining about my exhaust hitting, i was just wondering if the drift cars had the same problem with their exhaust hitting the ground, but then again, they are probably all custom right?

plus the course that they compete on is a race course...so its flat..
they won't be seeing any speed bumps or driveways, lol.

speedbumps isnt an issue for my because in my town there is only two spots that has speedbumps and they are two spots which i never go to anyways!
and as for driveways, thats why i park on the street! :keke:
