95-96 headlight conversion

Is there a kit available for the 95-96 to use the 97-98 headlights? Does it require new fenders and does anyone have a price for this? I would like to use oem metal if possible, maybe just a stock 97 front end..

Ok, you could have done a search and found tons of info on this, but I'll save you the trouble.  Yes you can do it, I am doing it myself, it is not cheap though.  Here is what it requires:

Hood
Fenders
Headlights
Bumper

Do the math, and it comes out to be a pretty pricey conversion.  Why on earth would you want to do the conversion if you were going to keep the factory S14a look though???  In that particular case, I don't think that it's worth it, but to all his own.

The same conversion would have to be made (I think).  You might be able to find an aftermarket bumper that is close to the 97-98 stock bumper for much cheaper than doing the 97-98 bumper conversion.  Honestly though, if you have a 95-96 and you really want the front end of a 97-98 that bad, then for almost the same amount of money, you might be able to trade in your (95-96) for a 97 and then that would save you a hell of a lot of trouble.  Think about it, you also will have to go through painting the additional parts that you get, so it might actually end up being cheaper.  Anyways, just a thought.

Yeah, but usually fenders and stuff like that are all rusted up at the junkyards. &nbsp;That's why I mentioned the price would probably get a little high. &nbsp;Junkyards are your friend though, and it is worth checking into because if you can even find one part, it will save you a bundle!!!!
