Does anyone have a 240 with pillowball mounts? If so, what do you think of them? Are they noisy, cause a rough ride, etc.? How much do they help? Thanks

I have pilo ball mounts (or at least that's the way Tein spells em...could be engrish), but I didn't put on my suspension before I got em, so i can't really tell you the difference as far as ride and shit goes. They're definately not noisy, though.

what are pillowball mounts, and what do they do? I was at the Apex'I USA garage sale today (16- sat) and they had a handful for sale.
For those of you in the LA area, they're going to have another sale (open-house, more like) tomorrow (sunday 17) from 10 to 3 or so, maybe they'll still have something left.

(fwiw I found a set of 180sx tri-tube shocks, sold before I could pick 'em up, and also a dual muffler-- those ugly ones that hang right next to each other-- at the Apexi sale)

Pillowball mounts connect the struts to the strut towers. They replace the stock strut mounting insulator with an aluminum mount. Most of them also have adjustable camber plates.
But I don't know how they help performance or how they feel. Take slop out of the suspension, I suppose.

I have the pillowball uppermount and they are very good for setting up the camber angle, I don't know if they give you a rough ride or not ... but I think rough ride is good for me
