not reading so many pages
summarize it
i dont know why you'd waste time with such a company
STICK WITH A COMPANY WITH A FUCKING GOOD REPUTATION or at least a rep in general
spend more money=get better service and no worries.

-group buy for cheap coilovers start
-people pay for coilovers
-money goes to person importing coilovers
-months pass with no word from importer
-people that paid are getting impatient and demand refunds
-contact to the importer is useless (no e-mail response or phone calls)
-people start pointing fingers, when its the importer at fault
-Find out importer claims bankruptcy and expects a resolve of some kind
yea i really wish money wasnt such an issue with me but with a min wage job it sucks. all lessons im learning...
btw it was chapter 7 bankruptcy meaning that they are permanently shutting down the company and liquidating the assets to pay off thier creditors. unfurtunately Js tuning (who the groupbuy was thru) is an unsecured creditor, so its unlikely we will get our money back.

yeah dood
cheap coiloers not the way to go
group buys nearly ALWAYS end in shit unless the company has a STRONG reputation
spend the good money even if it takes longer to get
because you WONT regret it.
but good luck, but i bet you lost that money forever. seen it many times before in the past w/ other folks they dont get the money back..um..people remember the FL guy..lost projects? ian something..

I feel bad for everyone who got screwed with that group buy. Just out of curiosity though, how did you pay and did you get a receipt? I know if you paid by American Express, you can send a claim into them that you did not receive what you purchased. If they verify this, then they will compensate you and probably pursue a law suit against them, until they get compensated. I am sure other credit card companies and even paypal have something similar. There has got to be something you can do unless of course you paid by cash; then there is no trail.

Didnt use credit card, they have records and receipts and whatnot. i cant do anything as i bought it thru Js tuning, its all on them. all we can really do is wait.
I thought Ksport had somewhat of a good reputation.. i think trix is their only distributor, so i dont know if that means Ksport is going bankrupt as well?
Yup I was suckered in as well.
Here's a thread on NICO with more info:

When I ordered mine from them I actually got them.
But I was part of their first Group Buy on NICO.
It was a while back so they probly made good on the first few GB's then shafted ya's.
Thats beat.

Sorry to hear what you guys are going thru right now, is not funny when you are missing that much money and get taken like that...I almost fell for it too...But yes by using a credit card is the best way to have a chance to get your money back....If they still have or had a bank account with X credit card company the credit company automatically takes the money out and refund the fees back to you....
