Hello Zilvia world - it has been a long time.
This is a long shot, but figured it was worth a try. My brother has been a long-time member on Zilvia and sold his s14.5 back in 2010 on here. Best I know, the car was sold off to someone in the New York area and potentially used it in a drift circuit on the east coast. Below is the link for the original sale ad.

In 2017 my brother passed away from brain cancer and left his wife and 4 kids behind. This car was his greatest passion in life, prior to having his kids. I would love to find any part of this car and start piecing something together for his kids to enjoy later in life. If you have any info or even some stories of what happened to this car it would be greatly appreciated. My fear is it is in a junkyard and died a quick death in a drift event, but you never know.
Thanks for any info.

Good luck and sorry to hear about your brother.
Please let us know where this journey takes you!!!!
I vaguely remember, did this car also have a flat bottom? I thought I saw something like this car on a time attack website, but good luck!

If you have the VIN you should be able to run a Carfax to see where it might be located these days.
Good luck!

Yes, I started thinking about the vin today. Not sure I have anything, but I will look. This car was actually sold twice on zilvia, I wonder if there is any archive of deleted PM’s that might contain it?
Thanks for the encouragement…. I also know the car never had a flat bottom when he owned it, but certainly could have been added.

No, he sold it off to someone on the east coast. I am pretty sure it went to New York.

Awesome - glad it made it a few years at least. Did the event have a name? Wondering if I could find any info on who was driving it.

I dug through years of photos today and found some images that capture a blurry image of the vin # on the firewall.
Here is the best guess I have currently... but it doesn't pull anything up online.

According to this : https://www.nissanhelp.com/diy/common/nissan_vin.php
The engine code of "A" seems wrong, but there are multiple options for a ka24de. Also, the photo sure makes that letter look like an "A" and the other options don't seem to fit.

I really hope you track this car down. ...and then you have to convince the owner to sell...That part of L.I. is an area with money (any near Dix Hills), so hopefully that car is still intact and with most of its original gear on it.

Thanks to some friends with connections... I now have some contact details for the last known owner. Stay tuned... hopefully, the contact info is still valid and I can get some info on the car.

Being modified, I'd like to think that someone who is active in their forums or FB groups has it. I would post pictures of the VIN tag and last known owner and see where it is. NY has a lot of FB groups dedicated to their drift scene but I'd try ClubLoose's page and TRISTATE 240SX PARTS FOR SALE - this is a group that is dedicated to the area and buying and selling. I doubt it looks like that but someone may recognize it.

I thought I was making some progress, but sadly another sad story attached to this one. Looks like the last known owner was killed in a car crash in 2018. Oddly enough driving an r33. I will try to search out some friends of his and see if they have any details.
I can't seem to find any obituary online for him. RIP
Michael Spera was the last known owner.

Sad that he passed but it gives you a better idea where abouts it may be. It looks like it's in the city somewhere.

And even crazier… there was two owners after my brother. I just found out the other owner also died in a tragic accident in 2015 when he crashed his motorcycle. Terrible so many sad stories linked to one awesome car.
