ok, i finally got it down to what iam getting. after seeing all these bling ass beautiful amazing rims, seeing their price tags and weeping, i finally found a good compromise. gram lights 57s with the face two in black. sizes are 16x8+20 front, and 16x9+26 rear. this will be on a silver s13 and hopefully everything will go smoothly. hoping to be able to get as much feedback by dec.1 5pm eastern time because thats when iam going to order the damn things. i just dont want to have any doubts about good fitment and such. thanks! oh yea...wheres a good place to get hubcentric rings?

are you sure the face 2's were available in those sizes? i always thought it was 17 or 18inch by 9.5 +22, i know the 17x8.5 +22 didnt have them..

iam positive they come in 16x8+30 in face two. iam ordering these direct and they basically told me choose whatever size/offset. iam paying for it though in two respects

Those sizes should look really nice IMO. You'll probably have to roll your fenders depending on tire sizing and camber, but thats no biggie. What tire sizes are you thinking about?

im thinking of a decent size tire with a bit of sidewall. i really need to shop around to see what is availble in the sizes because i dont know what would be best. tire width is all i got so far sadly, 225 front and 235 maybe 245 rear. i work at tirekingdom so playing around with the size wont be to much of a pain in the ass. i will accept recommendations though =)

I would suggest 225 all around.

i think iam going to go with yokohama avs es 100's, they are a good all around tire and last a decent amount of time. 225/55 sound good to you? and you dont think that it would be a bit stretched on a 9 inch rim? the only other size that would work well with the 225/55(f) is a 245/50(r). thanks for the help = )

Hey man you'll be happy with those. I justpicked up a set of 16x8 SSR reverse mesh's in +26 offset for my s13, and they look awesome. I wanted a decent lip, so here's what +26 got me:

I run 225s all the way around... I am on a stock KA, but with my whiteline sways the car drifts pretty nice. I was worried that jumping from 195s on 15s to 225s on 16s would slow the car and make it alot more difficult to break the back end loose, but it's not bad at all... And the car looks pretty sick now too :)

If you don't mind sharing, what are you paying for the set?

you might as well get 17s though, if you're gonna shell out for volk wheels. if you ever get aero and fully deck out your car it's gonna look funny with 16s.

my honest answer is

if youre waiting 90 days and gettin rays

get a damn 5 lug =/

i want 16's over 17's, i have no plan for aero and 16's weigh less. hell, one reason i might get 225's all around is for some of the weight savings. i dont have that much power right now but when i step it up the tires might go larger as well. why do you think i should bother to go 5 lug? there are no benefits beside there being bling factor of showing you went 5 lug, and also the wider selection of wheels. but iam getting these in 4 might so there isnt an advantage. yea i know redrilling rotors is ghettoish, but hey, it works. if you have any othe reasons why to go to 5 i would like to hear them. two hours on the deadline left!

mello88, PM me and we'll talk there = )

5 lug is not bling, its functional

it also shows that on the s13 you upgraded it...cuz they dont come stock with it...

furthermore, 16x7 +0 n 16x8 +0 is way tighter ;)

Since when did 16" gram lights come in 9" width?

thats the bling i was referring to, not the typical chromed out. the i put a bunch of money into something that gave me no true advantage type of bling. yea, i would like to do it, but with these wheels i see no point. maybe later if i build a different 240 i will = )

Uh, the tire size is really simple.
225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. Yokohama ES100s has both in that size and it's
almost identical to stock diameter front and back.
