1992 Silvia rear end help?!

Hey guys new to the forum and the 240sx scene! Looking for some insight , I bought a 1992 imported silvia the other day. The guy gave me two extra rear differentials with the car and told me that the one in it needed adjusted? The rear currently has a littlw grind every now and then. Any idea what the best solution would be to do? Install one of the other rear ends and after inspecting them? Or opening up the rear end currently and seeing what it needs? Any help with identifying the other two rears , or insight would be great! thanks so much

Pics would go a FAR way here..we have no idea what diff. You have in your car or the spare ones u have. Pics of id markings and even pics with the rear cover off to see inside
