S13 Door light Fix.

hi, i am new to sx's. So i got a problem, the door light on the speedoneter is always off. The dome works perfectly fine. All fuses good, All wires also good , got ground everythings fine. But the light doesnt work ( the bulb is also fine) Can somebody give me direction to look?

how do you know the bulb on the instrument cluster is good?
have you tried swapping in another cluster?
when you open the door, the dome light comes on?

Because for example, on the e brake , light works perfectly fine, so i switched, the bulb works. I tried swaping another cluster, nothing. Yes when i open the door the dome light comes on. I think maybe The connection to the speedometer is bad. Because wires come all good, everythings fine. It leaves me with connection.

in that case, I would check the connection on the back of the cluster. make sure it is clean and no corrosion. If you have an FSM you can pull the wiring diagram and trace all connections and make sure they're good.
