So who's going to Tokyo Auto Salon this year? For those of you that have been previous years, what do you plan on doing apart from the show?

i wish it was during the summer holidays, i might be going over there then, with a japanese friend staying at friends houses. so it would be a ultra cheap trip, just food and airfare. one of his good friends thats a model or something has a r34 gtr too :D

Considering TAS is only 3 days the $1k/week doesn't seem logical.
My expenses won't be much.. If we go all three days, we're looking at maybe $200 in train or gas/toll fees depending upon what way we go.

Just consider what sort of things you'd normally need to pay for and account for an extra $1-2k.

$1000 a week??? Wtf? What are you going to spend $4000 a month on? I spent $2500 (including airfare) for a bit over a month, and I didn't skimp on much.
