What size wheels do you guys think best fill up the wheel wells on a 96 240sx? Do yout think the front should be the same size as in the back (both diameter and width)? Also, what size tires do you guys use?

I would get 17x8 front with +35-40 offset with 235/45/zr17
and 17x9 rear with +30-35 offset with 245/40/zr17 or 255/40/zr17. That set up should fill them up. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

Do you think 18's would be to big?

I think unless you get a full body kit, 18's will look big on stock 240's. REal expensive too..

I'd say go with the 17's The off set should be like +35. (or something around there) I would definitly avoid anything around the +40 range. As for the width. I think that a 17x7.5 for front, and 17x8 for the back is good enough.
Ofcourse, this would not be the only setup to go for, and would change depending on how much hp you have. But if I was to buy my rims again, this is what I would do.
One thing I would do for sure though, is make sure that the rims weight around 16lbs. ( not like 20lbs+)
