i hate snow. not so much b/c i'm scared of driving as i am of the other people on the road. we invest alot of time in these cars and i dont like the idea that some overconfident idiot in a SUV ruin it.

It just snowed the other day. Since I just got my kouki I wanted to experience first hand how it handles in the snow. Drove around the block and then straight into my garage. Fortunately I have to other cars to drive my family around in.

I cant wait till skiing season, thats the only good thing about snow really. Hopefully taking a skiing trip out to Colorado again this year. I skied at Copper Mountain, stayed in Longmont which is right near boulder. But since i dont have a license im not sweatin the snow cuz i dont have to garage the 240

half the reason i moved to cali was to avoid snow.
i'm from seattle area, and while the snow there is weak, it is still snow, and there are people who shouldn't be driving in it.

snow's not that bad, it's just the idiots that can't realise that you can't stop on a dime on sheer ice. this seems to be a particularly hard thing for the drivers of bus sized SUVs.

yah I really didnt know how bad this shit was, Im in chicago for Thanksgiving and on the way over we saw at least 30 vehicles spun out in the median, or otherwise disabled, one in front of us actually spun around three times, and somehow managed not to crash, although he swiped the concrete and probably messed something up. but yah, anyway, I love snow though.

Ya you just got the snow we got, but they didn't salt our roads yet/ We got like 4 inches by me, and I haven't taken off my coilovers. Excessive camber and worn rear fm901s suck in snow. I felt like a snow plow yesterday, but its fun scooping snow chunks and flinging them over my car :).

Just got back from drive with the top down, I had to wear a hat it was so cold. Atleast 60 degrees out there. All the dry asphault was difficult to navigate, my 1/32nd depth tires were skating everywhere.

I put my Yam R6 right next to my Winter 240 project a few weeks ago, by Milwaukee we only saw sprinkles of snow, it's raining right now. My Sube Impreza coupe is pissed that we have no snow yet, the Nokians are crying... :-/ I really want it to snow already, I haven't had a chance to really test out "the beauty of all wheel drive". God I can't wait to move away from the snow... :fruit:

I live about 20 minutes from the snow. Luckily it doesn't snow here. Well, when it does, its like an inch and lasts for about an hour. I'm glad we don't have to deal with salt. Does anyone know if they salt roads in Alabama (or does it snow in Alabama?) or Iowa? Thats where my car lived a little while (its original home and second home before it came to CA). I don't see rust anywhere underneath or on the car. Everything is solid.
