Hey everyone, looking for some ideas / help diagnosing my Power FC. The vehicle is a 1991 180sx with a redtop and the factory #62 ECU. I got a good deal on a Blacktop S13 Power FC (414BN017) and after doing some research on the forum and discovered it's only a few pins different to wire in. I began following the Pinout Schematics between the factory #62 harness and the J4 ECU. I noted the following :

#2 is now #3
#3 is now #2
#5 is now #8
#8 is now empty
#9 is now empty
#11 is now #106
# 24 is now a CEL
#25 is now #9
#102 is now #111
#106 is now empty
#111 is now #102

Now my new Power FC does not turn on. I found that the #38 and #47 are not supplying Power, and I was able to jump the EGI relay between the #3 and #5 pins on itself to get it to turn on. However, at the EGI Relay, I found that there was Power flowing on 3 of the 4 wires with the ignition turned on ( 12v on relay pins 1 and 5 with the battery, and with the key turned turned to the on position Pin 2 is getting 8v from the Red w/Black wire from ECU pin #4 [ECU Relay], which should be a ground). I have opened up the Power FC and there is no sight of any shorts or defects, and I was able to confirm that the power was at the Power FC. Any ideas are appreciated, I have tried many things over the past few weeks and I'm running out. I've followed back all my chassis grounds and they are all in tact, continuity between all affected wires has been perfect.

http://imgur.com/gallery/C3lgpgt I Opened up the back of the FC and found that there is a wire soldered on the back of the board. One end goes to pin #105 ( Fuel Pressure Control Module) and the other end goes to ECU Power Pins #47 and #38. However there is only a slight flicker of continuity between both ends of this wire. Can someone open up theirs and tell me if this is part of the Power FC or could this be part of my problems? Thanks

I'm going to try to remove it and give it a shot. I've been able to turn it on so i know it's not totally fried

I peeled back the heatshrink and it revealed a resistor was put in place between those pins. I am contacting Apexi to see if I can send it in for repair.
