Drift Showoff Pix (Aspiring Pro Quality!) :)

So I am plastering these all over the net just in case any magazine editor runs across them and is interested in a motorsports photographer. :)

Or maybe just so I can get as much feedback as possible. :)

Either way - this weekend was good times at Irwindale Speedway - I was able to snap some of my favorite motorsports images to date! I think I'm finally progressing substantially on my motorsports photography, and Drift Showoff was a great warmup for JGTC/D1.

The pro demos were awesome as usual - the added bonus of seeing the FF drift demo as well as the G35 drift demo were great touches to what was an awesome spectator event.

that civic was slow!!! i dont see why its soo special, alot of the time, he wasnt even drifting just to keep up with the other cars...

The Fact that the Civic was actually out there Drifting with the other Pro's is wat makes it special...How many Civic owners do u kno Have Balls big enough to do ish Like like that??? Few If None i bet.... don't Knock It till you've done it or tried it. Cuz i kno for sure Drifting a FF car is Pretty Complicated. :blah:

I think its just overrated becuase he did it in a civic... ive seen vids do it in mazda demios... but nothing like irwindale since its a high speed coarse.

Did anyone else go there and get a video of any of the drifting. Just asking outta interest. If anyone did get a bideo, could ya possibleh post it, just so i can see, or others can see that didn't attend it. just curious, thanks :)

IMO you should have set your ISO speed to 100 when doing still shots, and a higher ISO speed when doing action shots to get rid of that graininess.

damn that drift showoff looks a hell of a lot better than the one they had here at fedex field in washington DC. We didn't have any s15s or skyline gtr-34s. What a gip

Nice. My father in law just picked up a 20D and I got to mess with it for a week or so.
