Just wondering if the OEM redtop sr20det main bolts are reusable? I reused mine and torqued them down to 61 ft/lbs because I do not have an angle gauge.

as long as they are not stretched then yes.

I see I did not check the ones I used for stretch they came out of another engine I just bolted them in and they torqued down fine at 61ft/lb. I torqued them in sequence and stages of course.

You make that number sound like an arbitrary substitution for a totally different torque+angle sequence, but assuming you had a reason for thinking that that's near what they intended for a final torque, yes.

Lube lube lube, threads heads and all over.

I see what your saying I actually sourced it from this post that had sr20 specs it said 51-61 ft lbs so perhaps thats a rough approximation? I believe the fsm itself says 28 ft lbs then 50 degree clockwise. All I have is a regular torque wrench should I maybe get an angle gauge or should I be good? Only ask because my lower oil pans are already on and dont feel like taking it back off.

i would suggest take em off and make sure its correct...thats a great way to spin a bearing and damage your block/crank...

Yeah thats why im just gonna remove them and replace them with new ones I have too much money in my engine to mess around went with arp head studs also for added insurance with stuff like this its better to buy new ones dont even measure them if its already off the engine just replace it... Only downside is itll take a few days to get here but you can reuse the washers and save 10$ they are the same bolts as infinity g20 crank bolts i cross referenced it.
