Hey I have a 96 and I'm about to order a Nissan front lip.
What all do I need to order besides the lip? what brackets and how many bolts?

If you're ordering an authentic Nissan OEM front lip, then it will come with all necessary attaching hardware in the box. I ordered one from my local nissan dealer and installed it myself-- you just need the right size combination wrench, very easy.

dont get that front lip. the streets will just eat it up. but still. you really dont need the OEM brackets to put them on. all you need are washers and bolts and nuts to put it on.

^^^^ or you can be dorifto status and use zipties.

Zipties work great, but if you use the OE brackets you can use the wing nuts supplied in the hardware kit (order a few extras) and make it fully removable for bad roads. Six-eight will secure it fine.
And $350 for the lip is stupid. Zenki lip can be had for $169, Kouki for $283, however the Kouki does not come with hardware.

Use a couple of bolts for the sides and zipties for the front. Trust me, this is the best way to go since the road are going to tear the bolt loose. I don't know how many times I had to pull over to reattach my lip until I started using zipties.
