I dono how much power 318's put down but you might stand a chance with one of them...

318's put out about 140.

you'll probably get mauled by the 328.

iirc the 96 328 puts out 192hp, and on that car the transmition is fairly good, i don't think if it matters if it'a an auto. most likely, you will lose.

FYI i tooke down a 325, bearly inched him as a matter of fact, and that crap was made in the late 80's...

and keep in mind, BMW underestimates their power, the 97 M3 has 240hp? my ass...

well the key to there deseption is that they are one of the verry rare companies that advertises wheel Hp, Not crank Hp. I looked at a 98 M3 just for kicks, and thats what the guy at the dealer told me.

I don't know about a 325 .... he'll probably smoke u. But u will definitely stand a chance against a 318. I had a friend with a stock 318i and when my car was stock it was a good drag race between me and him but i can smoke him now in the drag race since i've gotten some mods ...... Although .. lmao don't get on a curvy road ... all i can ever c of my friends car on the back roads is sometimes on the straits r little red taillights. I swear to god them damn bimmer's have super glue tires or something ..... he can take turns twice as fast as my car would slide off the road flip a thousand times. MAD suspension man. =me .02 cents

I got a 1976 Mercedes 300D that weights upwards of 4500lbs and it corners like a mofo. I think it has quite a bit to do with the way the front wheels lean when they turn, kinda like trucks to get a better turning radius. Gotta love those German cars

see, if you had an SR20DET under your hood, it'd be a different story......

tell ya what the 328 isnt all that special its bmw's kiddie special and in my previous ride (99 durango w/lots o goodies) i used to send them home with wet panties. if your good on the clutch in your 240 and can get through that damn short 1st gear fast enough then you should be able to beat him NP. send us a phot when you do

BMW advertises whp? i don't buy it....remember, career car salesmen typically aren't the brightest people in the world

palpatine........i don't know what world you're livin in, but it's definitely not the real world. for example, my old Z32NA was classed in "B" for solo 1, a 328 is also classed in "B," and personally, i've driven many 328's, and i think it just might take my old Z. i think some of the 328's even hit 60 in the 6's. there is absolutely no way (driver excluded) that a 240 would take a 328 in any situation. BMW's rule.
