i wonder who makes it, it looks like it fits pretty well. my luck with random ebay parts hasn't been so great though, you going to get it?

it looks like it fits failry well, but it uses the stock down pipe and does not appear to be equal length. i wouldn't spend money on it...
it is, however shiny :rawk:

from what it looks like, most likely looks like something ssautochrome would make. and as much as i like their turbo header i have for the other car (well the price most of all), the guy who's been doing the bracing for that manifold today said the welds looked like crap... for 95 bux though, hard to beat i guess.

I don't know...you pretty much get what you pay for on Ebay nowadays..

It's hard to tell, but it looks like the O2 sensor is practically wedged into the shock tower.

And the runners arent equal length....is that good or bad?
Looks like ssautocrap. BTW, Unequal header can sound cool! :) Still crap though.

true... but considering the turbo header cost me $120 shipped, + $60 for bracing, + $50 for machining the warped flanges, i could still get all the welds completely redone and still be WAAAY under $500 which the cheapest quality stainless steel header would cost.
There are different takes on ssautochrome turbo headers. Some people who let all the piping hang off hte manifold bitch it cracks too easily. Others, who manage to do it right, are pretty satisfied with what they got.
back to this header though, is that plugged up hole supposed to be for hte egr? Shouldnt it be angled a little different?

it seems it works with an SR20 style downpipe.would make for a 3" exhaust all the way back. talk about 0 backpressure.

I think it mounts to the stock cat. Even though it is likely not great quality, it will likely produce some small gains over the stock manifold which is horrific.

Meh I doubt it. I used to have the crappy (cracking) greddy header which was similar but it had even longer runners. This header is still too restrictive b/c of the primary cat. The greddy had miniscule gains, if any at all. The hotshot is still by far the best header on the market for the ka b/c it loses the primary cat.

hmmm...megan racing makes my s14 specific test pipe...which has a o2 bung. incase you s14 guys havent noticed, we dont have a o2 sensor on our "fake cat". so i had to have the plug welded shut. maybe its just me but megan racing seems like the APC of the 240 world...... :tweak:
