View Full Version : In Cali for JGTC, where else to go?
i'm landing in Cali on Dec 14th it looks like, so i have a week before the JGTC and D1...
where else should i check out?
definately going to stop by Jspec, will try to get to Phase 2.
is there anything else going on? i have some family in San Fran, my dad's cousin is a police sergeant or something out there, and has tons of toys and a 300z, he told me his neighbours have SR20'd 240sx's, two of them... anyone here?
his name is Raymond, my dads cousin.
my buddy lives out there and we are going to be rolling around all week, i'd love to check out some hotspots. we'll be in an inconspicuous stock G60 corrado though.
i am also going to try and pick up some manual seatbelts and bring them out with me, maybe i can stuff them in my bag and not have to ship them to you guys....lol
i'm gonna bring my celly too, screw roaming charges, would love to meet some of the guys out there that i have been in contact with for a while on zilvia...
this'll be my first time out tehre since i was 4 years old.
btw, i am landing in san jose, my buddy lives in monterey, but we will be in LA for a couple days as well.

Count the number of non rusted cars that would be falling apart in your neigborhood, learn the true definition of heavy traffic, enjoy the weather. Find random touges and drive them while your spoiler goes up and down (if its that type of Corrado).
Or just do the whole site seeing thing. Last time I was there I didn't have the time to do much because of traffic. Just went to Hollywood area one day, and the rest were just driving around.
Anyone know if Vivid gives tours :)

Yeah, Cali sux. It's way over rated, but we do have really good canyons to drive. If its not raining, beach would be good if it where warmer, so I say hand with your family and discover what a true winter should feel like, lol. :hammer:
yeah, my buddy was tellign me it was too cold to swim there...
68 degrees F = 20 degrees Celsius
that is plenty warn for swimming.
it is currently 0 celsius here, which is 32 for you guys... i could get used to that.
my car is covered in frost in the mornings

superauto bac from what i heard,
btw im from sf and sj (home and school), im interested in manual belts if u bring them here, and i will be going to the jgtc as well, im commuting with 4 other friends from san fran to so cali. pm or email me
[email protected], i want belts and if u can pillars.
^^^
i am going this afternoon after i got a hot tip on some stuff...
i will keep you posted.
trsilvias13 - i managed to score a couple set of belts.
the only problem was that the rocker panels on the car were rotted to fukk, so i had to actually rip the lower bolt out and it came with a small piece of rocker panel...lol
i am going it cut it off, so the belts are fine you will just need to use your stock bolt thats all.
i hope to get a couple more sets before coming out to Cali... i'm going to try and bring a handful of stuff out there for you guys and then with the the space i save i'll fill up with goodies i would normally buy and have shipped....lol
see if you can find a couple other guys that need the belts or DTRL's... if i can find a set of b-pillars for you i will pick them up, right now i just have belts. the belts were from a coupe, but the b-pillars were destroyed.
