gauge mounting positions

Can we start a thread to show pictures of guages/ and other monitoring devices like boost controllers and such? People can show what they have/use and where it is mounted.

well I got a few ideas, obviously there is the dual pod, which I have, I also have the ebay pod that goes in the heater vent, with the middle air duct, its nice becuase u can still get some air and heat out of there, of course i will need a nother spot eventually and will want another hole there, they have the 3 gauge one but they are 2 5/8, I dont care for the ones that go between steering wheel and gauge cluster but whatever, rihgt now I did some velcro to the area behind the shifter, for the safc, but I have came up with a plan, I dont have the bucket that goes under the radio, but I have fabbed a steel bracket to be bent in a l__l shape, and I will mountit, then the safc mounts on that, and there is still like a 2 by 2 square not enough for a gauge so Ill just block it off with some black insert or something, If I am not so lazy this week Ill post some pics.

you can put gauges all kinds of places. put a cf panel over the radio hole and mount there. panel over the vent hole in the middle and mount there, single pod attached to the steering wheel column a la wrx style, etc.

not really, just make sure you use something to seal the actual duct up good, lotta duct tape works, because otherwise you will be blowing air that can cause moisture right onto the back of the gauges. it might not hurt them but why risk it.

It has the center vent's covered with a piece of metal I stole from my roommate. It holds 3 52mm gauges although the spot could easily hold 60mm's. The NICEST place to mount gauges is passenger side of the dash, all in a row.
