About a year ago I remember seeing a guy who was swapping a vg20dett into his s14. I know he had like 4 or 5 different motors he was using to help figure out which styles fit best or something, or was using a n/t motor to make sure everything fit right as he didn't have the single turbo yet that he thought he would need. anybody have this guy's site, or know what came to be and how hard it was? IIRC it was a green zenki s14.
thanks

Just got the pics. Win lots of bets with Z owners. They get pissed when they see how well it fits.

I want to see how hard a swap it was wiring wise and other stuff. I'm kinda considering bringing the ka-t back to life in my se chasis. but I'm also kind of considering this swap. not sure if I want to build the car to be hella fast but fit into a class it can be competitive in, or hella fast but get blown away in pro-6 (drag racing).
so I will create a poll.

It doesnt fit as well as the pictures make it seem.
I remember speaking with the owner of that car, exhaust manifold/turbos dont fit, oil pan needs to be modified, Intake mani needed to be modified as well I believe...

I remember there were some issues with it. just wasn't sure if he was able to adapt and overcome them.

The VG30DETT barely fits in the car that was designed to accept it (Z32) -- this guy must be a hardcore masochist!

He put that project on hold...and used the two turbos towards making a KA24DETT. His post on the KA-TT can be seen in the technical section. He's also located in VA.

I thought I remembered him being located fairly near us, in fact even posting on the ma240sx board.
